A Prayer for This Day

I recently came across this simple prayer, written by St Francis of Assisi. I liked it so much, I ended up printing it and using it in my Bible as a bookmark and a daily reminder to commit each day to the Lord. I pray it blesses you as well.

“Lord, help me to live this day,

quietly, easily.

To lean upon Thy great strength,

trustfully, restfully.

To wait for the unfolding of Thy will,

patiently, serenely.

To meet others,

peacefully, joyously.

To face tomorrow,

confidently, courageously.”
