Welcome to my author website. As an author, my goal is not just to entertain. I want to make my readers laugh, shed tears, feel deeply, think hard, and uncover new truths.
Let me share a bit about myself:
Born to an American father and a British mother, I grew up in France where I obtained my French Baccalaureate. I attended IBME in Switzerland, graduating with a degree in Missions and Theology.
I am a wife, a mother to three boys, and critter mom to three rescue dogs and fourteen rescue cats.
I have led and taught writing workshops through the Ozarks Chapter of American Christian Writers and am currently a member of the Springfield Writer’s Guild and Sleuth’s Ink.
I have published fourteen books to date under my given name, Renée Vajko Srch. I write across genres and for all age groups. My brand is Wholesome Books for the Whole Family.
Besides my own books, I have contributed to four Chicken Soup for the Soul books, two anthologies, as well as numerous magazine articles.
I have received several awards, among which was an award from Writer’s Digest for my personal essay, Treasures from the Sea, and Global Library Award and Book Cover Award for Miracle Moments; Helping the Rescued Become the Rescuers. My children’s book, It’s Dark in the Ark, was a number one bestseller on Amazon.
I am currently writing the Nora Nash Mystery Series, set in the Outer Banks. Book One begins on Ocracoke Island. Book Two incorporates both Ocracoke Island and Portsmouth Island.
