Welcome to my author website. I write both under my given name, Renee Vajko Srch, and my pen name R.J. Dawkins.
As a writer, I aim to provide wholesome reading for the whole family.
Let me share a bit about myself. I was born to an American father and a British mother. I grew up in France (Orly, then St Quentin en Yvelines, a 20-minute drive west from Versailles). I attended French schools, graduating with a French Baccalaureate, then attended IBME, a theological seminary in Switzerland, graduating with a degree in Missions and Theology.
For several years, I served as vice president of the Ozarks Chapter of American Christian Writers in Springfield, Missouri, taught numerous writers’ workshops and served as Senior Editor for their monthly newsletter.
Growing up in culturally rich environments such as England, France, and Switzerland, inspired me to write novels set in historically significant locations. As an award-winning international author, I love to blend history, suspense, and a dash of romance into my books.
I have authored fourteen books across the genres under the name Renee Vajko Srch and contributed to several anthologies including three Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
My current novels, The Nora Nash Mystery Series, are written under pen name, R.J. Dawkins. Each book in the series features one of the Outer Banks islands along the North Carolina coast.
Book One, Tell No One, offers a glimpse into Ocracoke’s incredible history.
Book Two, Trust No One, details some of Portsmouth Island’s fascinating past.

I live in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks with my husband, three sons, and a gaggle of rescue cats and dogs.
