The Book of Romans spells it out quite clearly. How can we claim God’s grace and forgiveness—knowing what it cost Him—yet continue to deliberately sin? When we fully grasp the extent of God’s grace and the price Jesus had to pay to redeem us, it is truly life changing.
instead of stewing over the why, where, when, what, or how of life, the psalmist surrenders those questions in favor of quiet trust. He basks in God’s love, confident His heavenly Father will cradle him like an infant in its mother’s arms. Such contentment and peace is the upshot of knowing firsthand that God is trustworthy and faithful.
there are times when God asks us to set aside our expectations, our plans, and our schedules in favor of His agenda.
God invites you and me to participate in the most extraordinary mission our world has ever known, one with an impact so far-reaching that it affects eternity.
“Your future is not written by the enemy.” The enemy rejoices in causing us to dispute the goodness of God and the plans He has for us. But there is one thing he cannot do, and that is to rewrite our future! Satan has no authority to rewrite what God has already written.
Dare to step into God’s presence. He will meet you right where you are.
The thing is, God never promised we wouldn’t have to cope with deep waters – what He’s promised is that when we pass through those deep waters, He will walk alongside us. When we pass through the rivers, He will control their force so that they will not overwhelm us.
The thing is, God loves us too much to let us stray from His calling upon our lives. At times, he has to correct us in order to redirect our vision to align with His, which sometimes requires some hard and painful lessons.
You are not the sum of your weaknesses, failures, or inadequacies – you are the sum of God’s love.
