Worth the Wait

He has made all things beautiful in His time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 ESV

Waiting –

So difficult to do

So hard to learn

We pace

We fret

We wring our hands

And wonder why God ‘delays.’

We compromise,

Willing to settle for good enough

When God’s way is to perfect His plan

Until it is beautiful in itself

And in its time.

We forget that if He delays

It’s not because He’s holding out on us

But because He sees the bigger picture

While we’re ready to make do with stick figures

He’s creating a Mona Lisa.
