Welcome!

When Miracles Happen

But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:13-14 NLT

Let me ask you a question: Do you believe in miracles?

Miracles happen in the face of the impossible. Miracles occur when mountains stand in our way and we pray, asking God to intervene on our behalf.

Miracles are proof that God hears and acts in a way that is far above and beyond man’s reasoning. Miracles defy the laws of science, they shatter barriers we believe are ‘unbreakable,’ they give evidence to God’s omnipotence and mercy in the midst of our messes.

Miracles are evidence that God cares and is invested in our lives. They are God’s “I love you” in response to man’s “I need you.”

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the miracles you work in our lives. Open our eyes to see and understand that with you, nothing is impossible. Amen.

Thought: “The God who made the rules that govern the universe also has the authority to set them aside. And on occasion, He has, if it was necessary to serve His purposes.” – Billy Graham
