When Love and Hate Collide

In this world, there are two voices;

The voice of hate and the voice of love.

I choose love,

For love casts out fear.

In this world, there are two mindsets;

Incite violence or inspire peace.

I choose peace,

For peace is worth far more than gold.

In this world, there are two realms;

Darkness or light.

I choose the light,

For light begets hope.

In this world, there are two responses;

Condemn or forgive.

I choose to forgive,

For forgiveness is the fruit of wisdom and valor.

In this world, we have two choices;

Action or idleness.

I choose to act,

For action is the outward expression of one’s heart

In this world, there are two responses;

To harm or to heal.

I choose to heal,

For only then will our nation find peace.

In this world, you have to choose;

Which side will you pick?
