Does God care about my storm? Absolutely. Does His heart hurt when I hurt? You can be sure of it. Does He worry about the storm? Not one bit. Because He is in the midst and He knows the outcome. He cares about our pain, our troubles, our sorrows, but He doesn’t stay awake at night fretting about them – because they are all under His control.
