Discouragement is much like a leaky tub; hopes, aspirations, and optimism slowly spiral down the drain, leaving us cold and vulnerable. It’s a gradual process that often goes unnoticed until we’re left with only the dregs of our dreams.

The Power of Words
Oh, the power of words! They can build us up or tear us down. They can heal the heart or crush the spirit. That little diddly “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” is so untrue. Words hold such power they can push individuals over the brink. They are often the tool Satan uses to destroy marriages, relationships, even souls.
Down But Not Defeated
You and I will face seasons when we get knocked down again and again. That’s life. What should give us concern is when we get knocked down and we stay down. Never give up the struggle. Never settle for down. God has already declared you a victor in Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
IS GOD MESSING WITH YOUR NEST?
After almost a year of trudging down what seemed like a promising direction, praying for favor, and literally begging God for help, I thought of the birds. Fed by the Ravens
Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.” So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The …
