Do Not Lose Heart

Guest post by Author Julia Kay “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10 Paul …

A Season of Transformation

Yet God had a plan and a purpose. He had led Moses to a place where he could work on taking Egypt out of Moses: his learning, his mindset, his ways. God was stripping him down to his primal identity. In the commonplace of his daily existence, in the ordinariness of life, in the silence of the desert, Moses shed his pride, his reactive anger, and his white-knight syndrome. Alone, With Jesus

Truth is, the enemy wants us so knee-deep in the ‘urgent’ and the ‘important’ that rest seems more like a luxury than a necessity. When Jesus Doesn’t Show Up

“Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” John 11:21 (NIV) When six-year-old Glenn invited his classmates to his birthday party, he expected at least a few to come. But not one of them showed up. This little boy with autism was devastated. “I know this might …

God Keeps Vigil

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Psalm 121:3-4 (NLT) When our twins were newborns, their feeding schedules were not in sync. While the bigger twin ate every three hours, the smaller one was on a two-hour …
