Let Freedom Ring
Guest Post by Author Julia Kay Psalm 119:45 says, “I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.” Living in the Bible Belt makes it easy for me to assume everyone is a Christian. Maybe it’s because it’s so hard for me to imagine anyone going through the difficulties of this …

He Had Compassion on Them
It was Jesus’ love and compassion that drew people to Him. Sure, many followed Jesus for the healing, and some came to see a show. But healing was always secondary to His main purpose: obeying the Father’s will and loving those He came to save.
Embrace the Wait
“Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, ‘Send me David, your son, who is with the sheep.” 1 Samuel 16:19 (ESV) David – the kid who hangs out with the sheep. Though God had chosen David as the future king of Israel, Samuel had anointed him in front of his family, and though the Spirit …
Who Is God to You?
As we walk through life, God reveals one particular aspect of His divine nature according to our current situation and needs. The more we learn about Him, the more He becomes undefinable. One name is not sufficient to encompass our understanding and knowledge of Him.
