Welcome!

SOAR

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

I watch the eagle soar

Carried on the breeze

Unfettered by this world

He drifts with graceful ease.

The eagle spreads his wings,

Devoid of doubts and fears,

He casts himself upon the wind

Then circles, dips, and veers.

When sudden squalls arise

He taps into their power

He does not dread the storm

But rises ever higher

 –

Oh, how I long to soar

Like an eagle on the wind

To cast off these fetters

Leaving my cares behind.

To take that leap of faith,

Into your loving arms

And feel you carry me

Above life’s harshest storms.

Raise me up to new heights

Far beyond my striving

Lift me into your presence,

Where I can find peace and healing.
