Peace and Goodwill

Peace and goodwill – A fantasy? Wishful thinking? Perhaps a revolutionary philosophy? You have only to turn on the news to see it’s certainly not a part of the world in which we live.

The problem is that our culture tends to skip to the section about peace and goodwill without prioritizing the first part. We want physical, geographical, political, and temporal peace, without God.

Truth is, we can’t enjoy one without the other. We can’t skip to peace and goodwill without seeking God and His eternal Kingdom first and foremost (Matthew 6:33). Because true peace is found in Jesus alone.

It’s in the praise, the honor, the worship He deserves, that we find Peace with a capital P. He alone is the true source of Peace. He is our Savior, the One who died for our sins so that we might be forgiven and reconciled with God.
