Live Loved

We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

We all have moments when we doubt our ‘loveable-ness.” Whether the result of an argument, a disagreement, a rift in a relationship, or just the enemy whispering lies into your ears you must, at such times, remember that unshakable truth that God loves you.

“Say yes to God’s love even when you do not feel it. Right now you feel nothing except emptiness and the lack of strength to choose. But keep saying, ‘God loves me, and God’s love is enough.’ You have to choose the solid place over and over again and return to it after every failure.” 1

Claim that love. Walk in His love. Hold your head high and remember the price He paid to make you His Beloved. Then pour it out upon those God brings into your life. Because love is a gift that is meant to be cherished and shared.

Oh, the deep, deep love of Jesus—
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free—
Rolling as a mighty ocean
In its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me
Is the current of His love—
Leading onward, leading homeward
To His glorious rest above.2
