Welcome!

For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. Romans 11:29 (NIV)

Every week, I receive at least one email alerting me to some product that’s been recalled. Usually, it’s due to safety reasons or malfunctions. The other day, I had to toss out two packages of chicken nuggets because of the potential for harmful plastic pieces.

Fortunately, God’s gifts will never be recalled or revoked. He doesn’t bless us one day, then snatch it back the next. He doesn’t say, “Oops! I did a poor job on that. Send it back.” He is not fickle, nor does He change His mind. His gifts are permanent and eternal: no clause, no terms and conditions, no expiration date, no need for a warranty. There are no renewal terms and no need to reinstate. Even when we mess up, God still doesn’t reclaim His grace.

Though difficult times arise and circumstances might cause us to wonder if God still cares, we can rest assured He does. His promise to never leave us or forsake us is more dependable than tomorrow’s sunrise. Some may not see tomorrow but God’s mercies will never cease. The God who was faithful in the past is the same God today. He loves us passionately and cares about us and that will never change.
