Welcome!

Everyday Marys

Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant…”

Luke 1:38

Everyday Marys.

They don’t stand out in the crowd.

They don’t hold lofty positions.

Their names aren’t in Forbes Magazine or on the list of the top most influential persons.

Some can be found, ringing a bell beside a red pail on a cold December morning.

Others sit beside a dying patient, holding their hand.

Everyday Marys can be found cleaning the church late on a Saturday evening.

They linger beside a dying patient, holding their hand till they breathe their last breath.

They serve their communities and show kindness to their neighbors.

Everyday Marys are the men and women who have emptied themselves of self to make room for God to indwell them. They are the ones who bow their knee to God’s Spirit in the quiet and lonely moments, and whisper, “I am the Lord’s servant.”

Everyday Marys render themselves available to God, knowing their greatest gift to Him is not in the ‘being’ but in the surrender.

Everyday Marys.

They are the simple vessels, transformed to become holy dwelling places for the Most High God, a sanctuary where God can dwell and grow until He fills every part of their lives.
