Life’s battles can seem overwhelming. That’s exactly where the devil wants us. He whispers, “What will you do now there is no hope in sight?” Yet, God affirms the opposite. God will never leave us or forsake us. He is in control. Nothing and no one can ever come between Him and His beloved children – did you catch that simple but crucial word? Nothing! There is always hope with God on our side.

But God….
But God… Two little words that contain such powerful promise. There is no place we go where He hasn’t preceded us. There is no problem too immense He can’t resolve it. There is no future He has not foreseen. There is no loss He will not redeem. Even death cannot separate us from God’s love.
Rest for the Weary
My weariness was the result of too much ‘doing’ and not enough ‘being.’ When I stopped trying to rely on my own strength, my own wisdom, my own resources, and leaned into the One who fills me with all this and more, then the burden felt lighter and easier to bear. Because, ultimately, my struggles became His. And He is so much better equipped and able to deal with them than me.
Faithful Obedience
There is no greater service than to love, knowing that love might not be reciprocated. Some of our greatest feats may not be those seen by the eyes of men, but those perceived only by our heavenly Father who honors every little act of loving service performed in His name.
The One Who Has Experienced It All
God’s classroom is about discipleship, it’s about learning from the One who has the experience and the authority. “We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions. We didn’t learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus…” (1 Corinthians 2:13, MSG). If anyone can teach us about life it’s Him.
The God Who Sees Me
God is not indifferent to those He loves. On the contrary, He is a personal God. He calls Himself our heavenly Father, our Abba, the One who hears our cries, who feels our pain, sees our tears, the One who deeply cares about each and every struggle-filled day.
Love is Always Hopeful
Love is always hopeful because biblical hope is not based on what is humanly possible but is founded on the unchanging character of God.
Transformation
Transformation may involve pain, loss, hardships, and struggles, but all God asks is that we trust Him and move forward one step at a time.
Discipleship
Discipleship is more than just listening and following; discipleship is about fostering a teachable mind and spirit.
Choices
Choices; they impact who I am as a person. Some can change the course of my life for a moment or forever. I can struggle against them or welcome them as God-given assignments intended to develop within me a teachable mind and a gracious spirit.
