When Friends Disappoint
When the Bible states that God is trustworthy, it’s not simply referring to how He works, but who He is. He is truth. He is faithful. He never breaks a promise. When Darkness Invades
Guest Post by Author C.A. Simonson “I trust in You, O Lord; you are my God…my times are in your hand.” (Psalm 31:14, 15) As darkness invaded the land in the middle of the day, life looked grim to the eleven men. Their hopes were gone. They believed their leader would guide them to victory …
Living with Intentionality
Living with intentionality implies a choice to walk through each day with care, listening for His voice, His prompting, and His guidance. It involves seeking out God’s mission for our lives and allowing Him to use us as vessels through our words, our actions, and our relationships.

Sleepless Nights
Sleeplessness was also familiar territory to David. Instead of a soft bed in the palace, he lay on the hard, desert ground. Yet his thoughts were not focused on what should have rightfully been his but on the goodness of God. As David reflected under the night sky, he came to realize that he was safer in the desert with God than in any palace without God. “Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.”
That’s What Friends Are For
The last thing I want is to be a fair-weather friend. I want to be the kind of friend who loves at all times, especially when someone I care about is going through adversity. I want to be the kind of friend who would do anything to lead my friends to the feet of Jesus.
