Our God is Greater
How often I forget that God is the one who is leading and I’m simply called to follow. I get all worked up when I see a hurdle looming up ahead, wondering how I’m going to cope with it instead of quietly taking God’s hand knowing He won’t lead me where He hasn’t preceded me.

Out of the Goodness of His Love

Camp Kerith Brook
Then the LORD said to Elijah, “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook… So Elijah did as the LORD told him and camped beside Kerith Brook, east of the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. 1 Kings 17:2-7 (NLT) Elijah—newly anointed …
Don’t Just Do Something. Stand There
You will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD’s victory. 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NLT) In her biography, Two-Part Invention, Author Madeleine L’Engle shared that she felt so helpless when her husband was fighting cancer. “There is nothing that I, personally, can do, except be there… like most …
