Welcome!

Ask. Seek. Knock.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 ESV

Ask. Seek. Knock. These are not ideals or something we should hope for. These are promises – the promises of a good God and loving Father (see verses 9-11).

God doesn’t play games with us. He doesn’t leave us wondering or questioning his character or motives. He says, point-blank, ask and receive, seek and find, knock and it will be opened to you. So today, run to your Daddy and tell Him your fears, your worries, your concerns, your needs. He is not too lofty, too busy, too preoccupied with bigger things and greater matters. He is ready and waiting for you to run to Him and cry out, “Daddy, I need you. I need your help. This one’s too big for me, Daddy. Won’t you take it for me?”

Prayer: I thank you, Lord, that I can run to you anywhere and anytime. Thank you for finding me, for rescuing me, for loving me, for listening to even those ‘small’ matters. if it matters to me, it matters to you. Amen.

Thought: “Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” – Corrie ten Boom
