Do you ever feel as though your tears have nowhere to go, that they just keep coming without an end in sight? Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or alone with your sadness? Take heart, my friend, Jesus keeps track of all your tears.
According to God’s Word I am always included. And so are you. His amazing love applies to all of us.
When we fully realize how much mercy God has extended towards us – mercy that we never deserved yet He freely gave – how can we not extend mercy to others? Forgiveness is not natural – it is only within the scope of God’s forgiveness and mercy that we are able to forgive at all and extend mercy towards others.
Praise is a choice. It is intentional. It is a deliberate decision to lift our focus off our situation and focus on the One who is our refuge in times of trouble.
The next time someone offends you, choose to be the bigger person. Share it with God alone. No good ever comes from gossip. Ever. It won’t be easy, but keep in mind that friendships are built on the bonding of two imperfect people.
